Third Dimension T60 Sensor Head

T60 sensor heads are an upgrade to Third Dimension’s previous range of sensor heads. Taking the GapGun measurement tool to the next level, It can measure almost all gap, flush, seam and weld features commonly found in automotive, airframe manufacturers, white goods and wind turbines manufacturers as well as many other feature measurements for industrial applications.

	FASTER, T60 sensor heads have evolved from the FOV sensor head range. Several upgrades have been made such as implementation of a sensor with a higher pixel density, repositioning of the mirror and a higher power laser – all of which have contributed to an increase of measurement speed.
	MORE ACCURATE, it measure a wider range of features. Previously users would need two sensor heads, FOV15 and FOV40, to measure the range of features which can now be measured by just one T60 sensor head.
	WIDER RANGE, it is more cost effective. As the T60 can measure a wider range of features, customers only need to buy one sensor head rather than two.
	MORE ROBUST, it is more robust and environment proof. T60 sensor heads come with a built-in protective head jacket and areachieve BS EN 60068-2-31 rated. The design has been improved to be more water and dust proof with IP65.
	MORE REACHABLE, it can access more hard-to-reach places with smaller size. T60 sensor heads also include a measurement trigger button improving the usability when the head extension cable is in use. The head extension cable is also improved with the T60 range, it is thinner and more flexible.

All of these upgrades answer the needs of end customers, particularly those in the automotive industry. They take the GapGun to the next level, ensuring it continues to lead the way in non-contact precision measurement tooling.
