AFFRI Portable Hardness Tester RSD MAG

AFFRI Portable Hardness Tester RSD MAG

฿0.00

Portable hardness tester with magnetic clamping base for Rockwell, Superficial Rockwell, Brinell and Vickers methods. The first portable hardness tester that conforms to ASTM E-18 E-10 E-110 E-103 E384 and ISO 6508 6507 6506 international hardness standards. RSD MAG is a digital portable hardness tester with a manual drive for an automatic test cycle with hardness direct reading. Thanks to its magnetic clamping base it is possible to perform hardness tests on very bulky samples directly in the production department. It is completely uninfluenced by direction so that it is operative up to 360° degrees of positioning, even upside down. Load forces are applied through a dynamometric load cell which eliminates problems associated with dead weight systems on traditional testers. It is not affected by any external source of vibration, and it does not need to be leveled. Safe clamping on any surface, from round to flat, with self-allignment of the indenter with the measurement axis. LCD screen, user friendly interface, real time statistics and graphs and large archive storage. This hardness tester ensures the highest accuracy and repeatability at every measurement. Hardness tests in laboratory or in loco on tubes, profiles, valves and bulky or small pieces. For all metals: iron, steel, tempered steel, cast iron, brass, aluminum, copper and metal alloys. Heat treatment, hardening, nitriding, cementation and hardfacing.

RSD MAG
USER FRIENDLY

Pulling one single start lever the hardness result will appear in a few seconds. It is so simple and easy to use that there is no need for any particular preparation by the operator:

1. Identify the test area and place the hardness tester on the sample, no matter the size or geometry

2. Locking the base lever the magnet will strongly adhere to the test piece for the entire test cycle

3. Start the test and in 4 seconds the result will appear on the display scale or dial gauge

Safe clamping on any surface, from round to flat, with self-allignment of the indenter with the measurement axis. This hardness tester ensures the highest accuracy and repeatability at every measurement.

REPEATABILITY & REPRODUCIBILITY

Accurate measurements on the first test, even in extreme conditions, will eliminate the need for repeated tests. The R&R data is at the top of its class.

THE AFFRI SYSTEMOLOGY (PAT. AFFRI)

Load forces are generated by a dynamometric load cell wich assures long term accuracy and eliminates problems associated with dead weight systems on traditional testers. Results are not affected by any structural deflection, misalignment or vibration.

CLAMPING SYSTEM

Accurate hardness measurements even on unstable, dirty or oily samples. The clamping hood applies constant pressure and prevent from accidentaly samples movements during the test cycle.

50 MM OF INDENTER AND CLAMPING HOOD STROKE

The measuring head follows the sample even in case of structural deflection. Easy and fast hardness measurements on different thicknesses without acting on the elevating screw.

FROM PORTABLE TO BENCH-TOP

To convert the RSD MAG from a portable to regular bench top hardness tester, based on your needs, it can be combined with two different size of stand support, 670H or 460L.

This system fully conforms to hardness testing standards and allows testing in laboratory on small pieces and prepared samples without the need of buying another hardness tester.

Hardness measurements will result fast and easy as an AFFRI bench tester including the sample clamping system and the auto compensation of deflection thank's to indenter and clamping hood vertical stroke.

RSD SOFTWARE

Main LCD control panel in front of the measuring head for setting up the test parameters, including powerful software and electronics:

• Large LCD and lots of functions: Simultaneous view of 2 scales, the one of the test and the one chosen from the list of conversion scales. Conversion values for all hardness scales HR, HB, HV, HSD, HK, HRN, HRT, N/mm.

• Precise test settings: Check load is applied correctly. Select dwell time. Calibration by direct and indirect method conform to ASTM E18, ISO6508.

• Dynamic results: Simultaneous view of the range of results for statistics. Results average updated at the last measure. Statistic CP CPX CX Histogram and number of tests corresponding to tolerance values (Lo, Hi, Ok). Create 10 file record data with 350 measures each.

• Unique performances: Temperature measure in C° useful for certification tests according to ASTM E18, ISO6508. Depth of indentation in 0,01 microns. Acoustic signal for dwell time and for preload. Printer connection output RS 232C or USB. Back light LCD display 128x64 pixels. Keypad with IP 64 protection. Powered by rechargeable battery for 100% portability of the hardness tester (OPTION).
