FULL AUTOMATIC TEST CYCLE
The hardness tester’s head moves down until contact is made, clamps the piece, applies the force and makes the indentation. The software will move to the camera view mode where the indent is automatically measured.CLOSED LOOP TECHNOLOGY (PAT. AFFRI)
Closed loop load cells control load forces with a frequency of 1 khz, assuring perfect linearity in every range. Results are not affected by any structural deflection, misalignment or vibration.
REPEATABILITY & REPRODUCIBILITY
When testing unstable samples or deflective parts, the AFFRI System will follow the sample without losing contact. Accurate measurements on the first test, even in extreme conditions, eliminate the need for multiple repeated tests. The R&R data is at the top of its class.MOTORIZED TESTING HEAD
Fully motorized adjustable testing stand up to 500 mm vertical capacity including automatic contact with test surface from every distance with single start input (As option up to 700 mm).
CLAMPING SYSTEM (PAT. AFFRI)
Secure contact with the specimen is always mantained, even in the unlikely event of any specimen movement during the operation cycle. The clamping system assures perfect stability of any test piece throughout the test cycle, even if it's oiled, rusty or dirty.MOTORIZED X-Y TABLE
For automatic multi-indentation measurement cycles. The user can program and set the number of indents to be performed and the related movement of the X/Y table before each indent.
LARGE BASE
A working table that supports masses beyond 3000 kg and special fixtures or anvils permits steady hardness measurements on bulky and irregular test pieces which cannot be easily reached by the regular bench hardness testers. It also offers a comfortable working base for small pieces.MOTORIZED TURRET
Up to 7 slots for different hardness scales indenters, different zoom optics and even a MILLING surface preparation tool. Auto-rotating and auto-tool-switching for a complete automatic measurement cycle. For single or multi hardness test methods using only one tester.ANY TEST POINT
The Integral hardness tester can reach any testing position from really small area like cutting tools to the inside of holes or tubes. The indenter length or geometry can be cusomized on different needs. Indenter’s extension assures easy testing on difficult test areas with high accuracy. The indenter is always protected and the measure is always accurate.SWIVELLING PNEUMATIC TURRET
Automatic and pneumatic turret with 1 indenter and one interchangeable objective as standard. Each tool can be easily changed with manual screwing. Auto-rotating, auto-tool-switching and auto-centring for a completely automatic single or multi indentation measurement cycle.
The swivelling turret is the standard system for Integral machines.
The 7 position rotating turret is upon request.
AUTO-FOCUS
The Auto Focus performs an automatic focus adjustment for the selected optic with precise positioning at any magnification. This system reduce reading time thus assures high reading accuracy.SOFTWARE INTEGRAL
The INTEGRAL measuring software has been studied to fulfill any client need and to be accessible to every operator. This is a “SMART SOFTWARE” which results extremely easy to be used and can be customized to display only needed testing procedures.
Setup the hardness test scales, the dwell time, the properties of the camera, the test method standards and the conversion scales.
Manage the hardness tester's tools and check if the installed tool is correct for the selected hardness test method.
List of all the done readings and their associated image. Results chart and statistiscs highlighted according to tollerace values (LOW, OK, HI).
