The AFFRI Electronic Shore tester is a compact device suitable for measuring the hardness of plastic, rubber, polymers, elastomers and synthetic materials. The Electronic Shore hardness tester is in compliance with ASTM D2240, ISO 7619 and ISO 868 standards. It is extremely easy to use: just push the probe on the surface of the sample and wait for the dwell time till the result appears on the display!

BENCH-TOP STAND SUPPORT

Bench stand support for extremely precise hardness testing. The force is applied perpendicularly to the sample surface with high stability whitin any dwell time. The constant pressure from the top assures a very accurate measurement. Very easy mounting of the probe on the stand support, just screw-unscrew. Supplementary weight for Shore C-D-DO are available.

HANDCLAMP SUPPORT

Clamping system to lock the sample during the test for perfect stability. The handclamp is equipped with dual linear bearing guides with a coaxial error of only 2 microns. However, due to the particular shape of some samples, we recommend the use of specific optional supports which can be developed according to customer requirement.

 

O-RING TEST - ASTM 1414

Set of clamping holders to be connected to the bench support for very precise hardness testing on O-Rings in compliance with ASTM 1414. Sections Ø 1 - 1.79 - 2.62 - 3.53 - 5.33 - 6.99 mm, other on request. All AFFRI’s accessories are customizable according to customers specifications, depending on dimensions and geometry of the samples.
