Cylindrical or slender samples are placed horizontally, which will not be rotated during scanning. This is suitable for loose, dense and other material structures

The Cylindscan-2000 adopts a horizontal design. During the scanning process, the sample moves horizontally and doesn’t need to be rotated. And the X-ray source and detector rotate to realize spiral CT scanning. With the advanced spiral CT reconstruction algorithm, the sample structure can be obtained quickly. For long samples, customized solutions can be provided. Cylindscan-2000 is suitable for testing of full diameter rock cores, trunks, etc.
